s60 running lights

anybody found out a way to turn off the stupid running lights without going to the mainstealers on the s60 yet ????
because ive just nearly killed some pudding who thought i flashed him out when i hit a pot hole in the road..

seen loads of newer v70s without the lights on and they werent dibble cars.

Isn't it software controlled and main dealer only at about £40 ?

If you find a way, let me know cos you're not meant to have your headlights on during the day in France and I have to turn mine to sidelights to escape PC Plod.

lookin the fuse box at the side of the dashboard and theres 2 fuses for them take them out to see if that sorts it on yours (my fuse holes are blanks basta@ds)
