HELLO again you lot, well things have certainly changed around here well done justin/tash/restofcrew :hail: :hail: great work :hail: :hail: need new stickers now lol :slap: :slap: anyway getting to thepoint i am thinking about replacing the lump as the missus forgot to switch on the cooling fan :cuckoo: :cuckoo: (have to do it manually)hence it overheated in traffic and now has oil in the water also the crankshaft seal has been leaking for ages and as its on 160000 i figure it may be easier in the long run so how much for an engine to fit an auto box,i tried salvo earlier but no answer/engaged or has anyone on here got one in there back pocket i could have. thanks guys and keep up the good work!! ps love the new name also 1350ish members :jaw:

I paid £800 for an engine for my 850 T5. The engine was a later unit from the 70 series that had the stronger internals and only had 62,000 miles on the clock

High mileage engines start around £400-£450 from breakers yards, but I really didnt want to put a 180k motor in my car!!

Has this worked? I'll use this for now - me and my boy having a picnic in the T5! Yoghurt everywhere!
