how do i know what model my engine is

I have THAT program but it does noot seem to recognise the chasis number

its a 1994 engine with the intercooler pipe over the top

any ideas ?

or is there something i'm doing wrong?? im trying to enter the yv1ls number in the box that says chassis but it does not seem to take all the digits ???

but i need to know if a turbo will fit mine as far as i can tell my engine is a b5234ft

now tey give lots of different turbo numbers
how do i know if part number is 9146785, it is a TD04HL-15G and
the manf. number is 49189 01310.

will fit mine
as i have done a search for this part number and THAT program is not showing it
at all

850 Turbos are all B5234FT

The turbo (if it's an OE Volvo one) will fit on the manifold, the question is the downpipe. Make sure the flanges are the same, as Volvo has switched those a couple times on the 850s.

so if its just a case of unbolting the turbo from the manifild and bolting on a new one there should not be a problem ?? its only if you are changing the down pipe there are problems ?
