Hiya guys,

Along with the new car comes a new ICE project for me, so I've been selling up most of my previous install. All that I have left is this lovely set of mids, and they really are a superb set of speakers, in excellent condition.

Details are here: http://www.morelusa.com/renaissance/wr-8.htm

They're quoted to handle 28Hz to 3KHz, although I've played them from 20Hz up to 5KHz without any problems. The quoted figures mean that the speakers will play that frequency range to within 1dB throughout.. most manufacturers can't claim anything like that, and tend to quote to within 3dB (a 50% difference in output!).

They won't give the same kind of output as a good sub, but subs aren't good for anywhere near the frequency range. However, they will certainly keep up with even the most astonishing bass output from a sub, and allow you to cross over your sub(s) lower, meaning that the sound will appear to come from much more up front in the car.

They're designed to play well in well sealed doors (i.e a large (2 cubic feet or so) enclosure). They far outclass most of what you see on the market, and I will guarantee that you won't be disappointed, providing you have sufficient amp output.

They retail at around the £400 mark, and for a limited time (48 hours) I'm willing to accept £200 + P&P (or local - midlands - collection).

They have been for sale for a while now @ £270, and the only reason I'm dropping them this low is because I've spotted something else I want, which will be gone in 48 hours. After the 48 hours is up, they go back up to their £270 price, which is more than fair given age/condition/quality.

If you want anymore advice/info, please give me a shout. I can provide plenty of buyer and seller references

Cheers

Mark

I should have added - they are essentially the same drivers as used in the Phoenix Gold Ti Elite 3-way setup, which retails at £1500.

The answer to that isn't as simple as it may appear to be. I'm getting ready for a VERY hectic weekend, so I'll answer early next week if I don't get chance beforehand.

Cheers
