ok here is a good one
i want to put the purple 12000k HID bulbs in my bike
(cbr1100 blackbird)

any one know if there are any issues with HID and the plastic lenses

I don't think it does affect plastic lenses because I believe the HID's are cooler (in temperature terms) than standard bulbs. Not sure where you'd mount the ballast on a bike though.

plenty of room for th ballast behind the fairing ... guess it will depend on the heat these generate but shouldnt get too hot should they
