Hello,
I put my boost gauge in the rhs air vent.I cut the vent slats with a dremmel. If i sell the car on i can replace the vent with ease.

I've got a single pod mounted to the corner of windscreen (to avoid making holes, use double sided trim/numberplate tape/pads).

I've been thinking of mounting one using the two switch blanks to the left of the steering, Does anyone know if gauges only come in one size or can you get smaller ones ?

This didn't involve that much hacking of the dash :shifty:

I was thinking of 'gutting' my boost gauge and mounting it behind a bit 'o' pespex in the switch blanks area, right flush like !

Not a bad idea, but I wouldn't fancy ripping my £65 gauge to bits in the hope I could make it flush fit

Boost gauged are a functional bit of kit and is not on my priority list if it looks good, its there to stop me blowing the old girl to bits

Ditto!! Amazingly most of the smaller mods to my car have cost me nothing LOL (one of the few advantages of being outnumbered by men on this forum LOL)

I like the idea of "not" cutting if I have to, so I agree above, use a 52mm pod and stick it to the windscreen, run the pipe down behind the dash and out to the engine through the rubber grommet supplied, sorted, looks ok, and NO DRILLING or CUTTING,
It's a personal thing, but I really really don't like cutting unless I have to...

And one day you may have to sell to some old grandad, and then explain what all those holes are :sinner:

Do whatever.... we are all different... :shifty:

I do agree that the pillar mounts look good, but I would "stick" mine on not screw... does anyone know where I can get one? for me second car of course

Having concidered all options, and advice from you chap's, i have decided to take out the right hand side centre air vent to locate the boost gauge. It is mounted on black carbon fibre flat back ground and looks very good. Many thanks for all your input. CAMO!
