DIY ABS Module Repair? S70R

Hi,
My ABS/TRACS lights are on. Dealer says the problem is the ABS Module - Question is, What makes this unit fail?? can it be a DIY? If I open this thing, what do I have to do to get this thing to work. I can take it to a qualified electronic tech with no experience with ABS modules.
Please share any experiences.

Galion it is not a mystery, it is due to dry joints in the solder, these have to be fixed, Wobbly Dave repairs them and has a very good repair record,
You will have to pm him for a price though,
