I'm up for that although time is often tight (and will be even tighter as my new house renovation project gets underway) but I should be able to get out for a couple of hours one weekend.

Can't think of any locations off the top of my head but will have a think and let you know.

There are a few members from the nNorth West now so should be able to get a few together.

Regards

Andy

What about the ASDA car park in Skem, right on my doorstep ;)

I suppose a nice day out in sunny Cheshire sounds better, and providing I dont bend another rod, count me in too :D

Sunday the 26th would be better though! Quieter, more relaxed, and no one should be at work :D and it'll give me time to give her a polish......oh, and clean the car too ;)

Burtonwood services is a top venue on the M62 lol, KFC, Optimax (mortgage required) and resident P2 V70 T5's with interesting bright paint jobs!

Tatton's quite cool as there's a top adventure playpark! Good for piccies as well.

Anyone interested in a meet up, I'll happily do some arranging. All I need is an idea of where to meet, and some interested people.

Only thing, it'll have to be a weekend, as I'm working away all week

Well its 10 days since the initial post, i know it's hard trying to sort out meets, believe me, but the ingredients we need are willing people, locations, and a time, here we have all 3 ingredients and the post as died as death, i for one need to plan my weekend as i work 1 out of 2, so i,m sorry if i seem pudhy but people will tail off if things are left to drift!

It might be 10 days, but I was in the process of looking at alternative venues that might be a little more accomodating. I know of a few pubs that have regular car meets and am waiting on them getting back to me.

If you want to go ahead with the Heaton Park meet, on the 25th. Fine by me!

StuAWD had a reccy of Heaton Park today. Apparently it was very busy. He's had a word with the guy at Heaton Park Hotel just down the road, who's only to happy to let us use the rear car parks.

It sounds like a good plan to me, as the hotels got a beefeater and a bar should we plan to use it. Plus we've got the car parks as a base.

I've had a change of plans, but will still be there, just a little later than originally planned. undefined

so, we now meet at the heaton park hotel, many thanks to StuAWD for this help, see you all Sat.

The Heaton Park hotel is just off junction 19 of the M60 heading towards Manchester on the A576 Middleton Road, directly across from the junction of the A6044 Sheepfoot Lane.
Hotel manager wants us to use the car lots at the rear of the car park, farthest from the hotel.
See you all on the 25th. I think someone said around 1330hrs.

Well if we meet up at J37 of the M1 at Dodworth then go A628/A635 through Holmfirth, say hi to Compo etc, then over the tops via Ashton, Stayleybridge towards Manchester then if you lnow the best way from there i'm all yours, it's just i know the A635 is more thrashable than the A628, i might come home via A57 Snake then if it's dry & still light.

If that ways more fun than Woodhead, then I'm up for it... 1pm at 37?

Well it is the weekend so I won't be in my usual midweek clothes.

LOL.

Only joking LOL.

I doubt I'll be able to get my wife to come along and even if she does, she has no interest in cars at all - except her little plastic box (Smart Car).
