Hi,
Does anyone have any hard evidence that de-cat pipes make a difference?

I dont think there is any statistical evidence of a De-cat making much difference. Duane and Giles both have De-cats tho and have found improved results.

There is an argument for and against, i have had no experiance so would not comment, i think duane would say there is a difference, and looking at his ¼ mile times i would be inclined to agree.

i would compare the increase from a de-cat to about the same as when i fitted my MBC (which is what about 20ish bhp). The turbo seems to lag abit for some reason but comes in with a hell of a kick when it does get there

Why do you have one for sale now, took it off? no good? too noisy?
I have noticed an increase in the exhaust noise from the SuperSprint back box/pipe, have to turn the stereo up "even" louder...
