They are a bit of a tight fit and to get them to sit flush when the car is locked you might find it easier to cut the top few mm's off the threaded part or the lock mechanism before you start.Got a few other tips if you get stuck.

Viking,

Can you shed some light on these other tips? I've got me a set of pins (courtesy of a deal with Volvolised) and you're right - they're a helluva tight fit! I can't get a grip on them enough to screw them down and don't want to use pliers to tighten them for fear of damaging them.

Cheers.

Ok might sound a bit drastic but i ended up snipping a few mm off from the thread of the door mechanism makes it a hell of a lot earier mate.Hope that helps.Good luck!
