A/C problems

Hi there, can anyone give me some advice on two orange lights which keep flashing on the air conditioning, already had it re-gased twice and second time dye added, but was told no apparent leaks showing but unit still over a 4 weeks period is de-gasing somewhere. Is there any obvious or common faults that I can check? Thanks in advance Andy :slap:

Have you had the codes read? If not this should be your first port of call.

Is the unit cooling? Is it short cycling?

If you use the search facility you will find a load of aircon related posts from last summer onwards that should give you some good ideas of possible problem areas.

I don't know how old the car is but the position of the evaporator makes it hard to see any leaks from it even with the aid of UV light. I hope it isn't this as it is expensive to fix.

Thanks for your reply, I didnt know that reading the codes would pin-point the fault, so will give it a go, thanks again. Andy
