From experience, there is no additonal transfer fee on top of the plate as it is included in the DVLA price.

it is ....but only holds dvla plates
the private companies have access to both dvla plates and private sales

For what its worth DVLA are the cheapest been there many times, but with all these cameras about who wants to be noticed? D------ds?

the price you see is the price you pay on the dvla site, includes vat and transfer fees, all you have to buy is the plates,

when buying privatly, it depends if the seller paid for the transfer when they put it on retention, you dont have to pay up front, watch out it's another £85, most private companies selling plates dont include vat or transfer fees when advertising plates.

OHHH no, i bid on that about 6 months ago... didnt reach reserve... seller never replied to mails.... how much did it go for?


On the dvla site... superb, all done n dusted for me in 2 days from phone call to paperwork thro door.

Only problem is, it cost £80 a go to swap to another car, and at the rate I swap my cars, it'd cost a fortune just to keep swapping the plates :o)
I used to have L7DDO on my old S70T5 :)
