What do people think of the Heico front spoiler flaps for the S60?
Are they hot or not?
Are they worth £350ish? (inc painting and fitting?)
Car with Heico Flaps:-

Teee heeee heeee
I opted for the 'yes they do look good but £350 could be better spent elsewhere' such as re-map, 2/3 of a turbo or alloys etc

Remap is definitely gonna happen - I'm waiting to see what TME has in store for the D5 in the Spring before I make up mind between RICA/TME/BSR ;)
Don't think VT or anyone do a turbo upgrade for the D5 :troutslap
Uuuh. The only alloys I like are the Heico Volution V, at £1300 for a set in 18" and £1800 for the set in 19" not including delivery or tyres :insane: . I think I'll stick to the 17" Teths that are on there now ;)
Needs lowering though for sure, probably going down the Eibach route for cost effectiveness (mainly for cosmetic purposes only).
I would consider brake upgrade also, but I need to be able to put on winter wheels so I'm limited somewhat! Perfectly happy with the brakes on there now tbh so I doubt I'll upgrade unless/until I need to change discs.
Would like tints all round (tbc), and a Heico gear knob!
But yes, £350 for the flaps is somewhat expensive I agree.

Any suggestions? For the price of the 19" Heico wheels I could buy two 850 T5's! Then there is delivery and tyres on top of that!
Reckon I wouldn't get any change out of £2,500 for a delivered set of Heico 19" with some rubber on them! Ouch!

Theres gotta be loads a 5 spoke wheels in 19" that are similar for half that price, just a case of looking around

I'll have a look see in the new year. I'm very fussy with my wheels and I do like the Tethys a lot! :)

I like them, but I think it's a bit expensive once you factor in the painting and fitting.

Yeah - my thoughts exactly.
On a Heico matter, as I see you import some of their stuff - on the Heico website I can find the aluminium dial rings for the clocks on the dash. These look very nice, much like the latest '05 S60 has, yet I cannot find these on your website? I wouldn't mind a price for a set of these!

they're not so bad in grey, but they'd look better in red.... definitely not black!

Damn I'm sure that wasn't there when I looked!
Any idea how hard to fit?

They weren't there when you looked. I added them for you. :D
I haven't fitted them myself but according to the Heico instructions it sounds fairly straighforward.

Might give them a whirl in the new year? Do you have to dismantle the dash?
