simon, there is a special drill bit with a shoulder after a certain length to fit the oe spoiler to an s60. It would be difficult without and we didnt fancy it!

Can they be bonded on without drilling ?

I wouldnt rely on bonding along. I bet the drag is quite high at speed.

I have a S40 2005 rear lip spoller here, and that was bonded only, but a high spoiler would be a bit dangerous i think.

PS Said spoiler is for sale as it doesn't fit my car.

Gary the lip spoiler should have been bonded and drilled on in 4 places.
volvo advised us of this as if the customer wants the accessory spoiler which is larger, a new boot lid is required.

there was a recall for those spoilers.

Probably why it was for sale, Not screwed at all, just bonded top and bottom of lip,
Well i will put it on EBay, Madness how far do those spoilers fit on the S40? as they look surprisingly short for the whole boot lid.
