Why not k24 turbo?

So I've been reading a lot of different posts on multiple forums and noticed that most people with s40, v50 c30 when upgrading their turbo opt for the k16 focus rs turbo. Why not get a k24 from s60 v70 T5?

The KKK from the Focus RS has an integral manifold and is a straight swap for the ST and smaller T5 KKKs.

The KKK from the larger 'R' cars has a separate manifold and will not readily fit to those small T5s.

Also the KKKs with the integral manifolds hang down at the back of the block.

Don.Argh right so R type B5254t manifolds with k24 dont bolt to s40 T5 or c30 T5 version
