Went to enquire about new rear shox and was given the question gas or oil,
Anyone know which are better? and why?

Gas...

better bounce and return more stable at higher shock rate and less likely to leak..

Oil went out with the Arc didnt it?

Well the gas ones were £29 inc vat and the Bilsteins were about £35 inc.
Will put my self levellers up on here and on Ebay if anybody wants them,
Talking to the guy in the shop he said lucky mine didn't have self levellers, I said why? As mine has lol, he said on the Mercs they were over £700 each side and mine were over £200 pattern price :jaw:
