I keep reading that the S60 should have the 94 XL load rated tyres, but the ones I have on there at the moment have a 91 load rating!

Whats the score? (Volvo put the tyres on there!)

The D5 engine is Aluminium so is alot lighter. I'm presuming thats why the load weight is different.

See what happens when you run a diesel (ugh) you start thinking about boring load ratings :tank: instead of speed ratings.............................

They're Y rated up to 186mph. 95% of the 225/45/17 tyres seem to be Y rated. So THERE. :troutslap

Might need some extra help getting to that speed! Adam, what do you say man? LOL.

So, what rating do you need for a Bugatti Veyron?

No idea, but as with any 200mph+ supercar, I don't generally think you order the tyres from MyTyres.co.uk or pop into Kwik Fit!

I used to work for Michelin - supercars (eg Mclaren) have them hand assembled as specials (~£2K per set of 4, is not unheard of!).

By the way, the tread is handcut. Before you say it, NOT with a Stanley knife.
