Drag race weekend 28th / 29th October

Shakespeare county raceway as above, there last rwyb weekend for this year....possibly ever...:cry:

I will be heading up there Friday evening to enjoy a weekend of racing and look forward to seeing and racing with any of you that wish to attend on either day or both, hopefully the weather will be a bit better than what we have had lately. Sorry for the late posting of this event, but I thought there was already a post for this, but I can't find one.

As Carl said it's a Volvo Performance drag race no. For when we race a shakey, I was going to get a copy of the sheet this weekend, but that may not be required if shakey is unable to operate next year....the housing development hoardings are up at the site entrance. ....so not looking good for next season

Quick update, on site now and skies are clear and looking good for tomorrow, a lot of people here already so looks like it's going to be busy all weekend. Huge bonfire here for saturday night and fireworks etc. For the usual suspects and those wishing to join us on Saturday night the firepit / bbq is here feel free to use it but someone will need to bring some charcoal if that is the case, as I'm officially old and so now lazy. I will be having Chinese of tea from the very good Chinese chippy. There is firewood here but if anyone coming is planning on a late night, bring some with you if you can, there more the warmer we all are for longer.....see you all there for some fas volvo action
