This Gluon system has been out for a few months now.....

Expensive, but does offer a few functions that some might find useful, in particular its intended use with i phones.

For reasons better known to themselves IPD have not offered the old MTE Softloader for quite some time now whereas I and others still do...

To my knowledge this Gluon gadget does not work in any usefull way on any of the post '08 Volvos with the baleful pincode system that, to date, has locked out everybody like myself from offering aftermarket software.

I use my PC and DICE. It takes 80secs to flash the ECU.

and would you let him loose on your ecu's??.....lol

but on a more serous note, I'm not surprised with this new method of flashing, it's really only the same as using a bluetooth dongle to connect to the car and flashing though that, they've just developed software to work on a mobile phone. This will no doubt be available to us all soon this way as freeware for our phones and connect through a bluetooth elm obd adaptor, that will make things so much easier.

Had chat with Don re MTE map says anyday now he should get the unit I think its still a Beta unit tho.
