Hello guys, once again I am hoping the experience on here can save my bacon again! Does anyone know where I can get a coolant inlet pipe (part no. 9497059)?
My one is leaking and dripping on the manifold and causing a right stink in the cabin !
Should I just try welding it up ?

I'm not sure if this is a trick question but I used all my knowledge and experience to find the answer for you.

Have you tried your local main dealer? :saythat:

If it's the main water pipe from the bottom rad hose to the back of the water pump then most Volvo breakers will have them on engine's. I should have some but I wouldn't post it.

That's the pipe I thought it was, if it is then I've only known one to leak. They are a pain to fit as the turbo and exhaust manifold needs removing.

With that in mind, I would only fit a NEW part! You wouldn't want to have to remove it again 6 months later cos it's persished, cracked or leaking because you bought old second hand.

UPDATE - I ordered the pipe (from sweden!) above but as it turns out it wasn't that one which was leaking. It was small diameter outlet pip which runs along the back of the engine. Couldn't get a replacement anywhere so had to get my mechanic to weld it up !!
