Hi, newbie here.. This problem may have been aired here before, but I've not been able to pinpoint the problem I have.... 2005 V70 D5... I have a missfire from start up. I get loads of vibes. On the road, it vibes a lot in straight ahead and slow left turns, steer right, it's smooth!! At first I thought it was drive shaft, so changed that, no difference. I've got front wheel bearing to change, but I'm guessing it's not them. It's bizzare, driving along, left bend, loads of vibes, right bend quiet.
I STILL have a missfire and havn't traced that yet. If it's a missfire why does it go on right bends? I still think it's missfire related. It perform ok on full throttle.
I'm baffled!!!
Could some kind Sir or Madam shed light on this problem PLEASE?
I'm in France with the car and it's difficult to find a good Diesel specialist. They all have the Gaelic shrug....I go HOW MUCH???
Thanks

Update..... I did the cambelt and water pump and whilst had the wheel arch guards off, I found the answer to the weird problem I had. The right hand engine mount had collapsed. Smooth as silk again now!

Sorry I missed this thread the first time and would have mentioned that mount as mine went on my AWD (though an old car they do have some similarities) with the same symptoms.

Glad you've got it sorted :D

Thank you for letting us know what the issue was too!
