Abs ecu

I have took the abs ecu off the pump till i can get another one, since i have took it off, the speedo and mileommeter have stopped working,
Would this happen or is it likely that the gear head has gone in the speedo?
Car is an auto 850r,

if I remember correctly, the abs nsf wheel speed sensor provides the signal to the speedo/mileometer. Mine stopped working when I swapped wheel sensors as I've not rewired the newer ones back in after the cables broke due the corrosion and came apart during the swap. All should be good when you fit another abs ecu.

Was bugging me, so re-connected and works again.
