Started doing this today, I do have a ETM problem but it's very intermittent never continuous. But this happened today

Disc is short for disconnected.

Try giving the selector knob a good wiggle and turn it back and forth a few times.

Usually a bad connection in there.

ETM = Electronic Throttle Module.

You might have a DIM (Drivers Information Module) fault ;)

You have the old type DIM as you don't have the chrome rings around the dials. A replacement DIM will have Chrome rings and looks the nuts. It also has LED illumination, rather than incandescent bulbs.

Not cheap I'm afraid either.

You'll need to read codes, note them, clear them and report back.

When it does it again, or any other weird fault on the display, re read the codes and that will confirm the issue and whether it is indeed your DIM.

Erm... It's a P80 dash, Lee.

Didn't think the chrome ring thing applied here?
