Radiator to radweld or not!

My radiator is leaking! Today at local garage bought some Radweld.
Put this in other cars, but not sure with the T5R if its a good idea, Its not pissing out but everday it goes out of the res.
Anyone repair or have a radiator, or used Radweld in there T5 with no probs. Thanks in advance Dan

I'd be more inclined to get a new rad or speak with Salvo and see if they have one in good nic rather than use radweld - I've heard a few horror stories :(

On small seapages I've found Radweld works well. Its also the only Holts product I've heard mechanics recommend.
If the leak is from the top or bottom where the matrix fits into the plastic, the metal clip band can loosen, I had this on a CRV and took the rad off tightened/crushed the clip and the leak was repaired.

Try Radiater services in Mapplewell, they did me an exchange one for my Cossy for £100, about 5 years ago now but there local to you.

Only ever used RadWeld on a old Mini, worked if i remember rightly ....

Better than Crack a Egg in the rad, Remember that ole trick...!!lol :pants:
