Hi all,
Well finally getting my 2011 V70 D5 SE Lux in to have the old shocks replaced.
I've got a set of Bilstein B6 lined up but deliberating on the merits of adding the Eibach Pro 30mm lowering springs at the same time.
Any experience or thoughts of this route?
Cheers in advance.

I haven't any experience With shock changes on by 2008 V70 as they are working fine if a bit soft when unladen.
I have got a set of Eibach Pro 30mm lowering springs on my Mercedes C320 and they made a huge difference to the handling. I have standard shocks with them as I didn't want a harsh ride as I also fitted 18inch wheels at the same time The car handles very well and I've been using this set up for about ten years. I don't do a lot of mileage in it now. I would fit them without hesitation to my V70 except that I use it a lot for heavy loads so don't want it sitting too low in those circumstances. I am sure it would make it handle better without the body roll which I hate. If you do change the springs make sure you get a proper laser alignment check to maximise the effect.
I will be interested to hear the results.

Andy
