Hi guys.
Need some help as i really dont want to scrap such a good car.
Couple weeks back i get the service engine system required message. The dash shows 042 on the left when asked.
I replaced the brake switch behind the peddle but it still does it. On that matter the cruise control works intermittently then cuts off. I had replaced the clutch sensor to get the cruise to work 4 months ago.
Next i chnged the brake position sensor in the booster located in the engine bay. I found one of the contacts coroded so cut off and placed on a new connector.
The problem still shows up after clearing.
On the code reader the fault showing up is listed as below.
930c clutch position sensor diagnostic in CEM.
Can this be linked to it?
Im getting fed up changing bits to no effect
