Aux belt tensioner - new/old style interchangeable?

Are the aux/serpentine belt tensioners interchangeable between old and new styles? Mine's an early Ph2 with the type that has a 14mm bolt on the pulley, but I've just been supplied the newer tensioner that uses a torx head to release the tension. Can I use this?

They've obviously modified it then! The part you have will be correct to your VIN because the parts guys always ask for your VRN.

Just to confirm, yes they are interchangeable. I managed to confirm this after a lengthy Google session and have since had the part fitted out without issue, so all good.
