Question if I may ....

My car has just had a new alloy intercooler and pipe kit fitted but since we fitted it the Lamda Light has been on.....

Symptoms are:

* Misfires intermittently (really bad on occasion)

* Stalled at the lights pulling away (on idle and its automatic)

* Very fuely (running RICA 304 and WHITE injectors) but never noticed smell this bad before...

* Serge of power then loss (this can be continuous when on boost)

* Clicky noise when serge happens (drivers side noise - sounds like a relay clicking)

Had codes read (my friend has them but I know the MAF did show an error)

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks Phill

boost leak / pipe not fitted properly that would be my first checks, is the intercooler new or new to you, if so is it sound or leaking, I'd start with these if it was running fine before you changed it.

New parts and custom parts....

still think boost leak is the most likely, so double check and read any codes for further clues

I agree with Ade, definitely sounds like a boost leak, mine does the same, can't find the bloody leak though.
