C70 Rear Window Surround

Hello guys, after an enthusiastic jet wash the plastic surrounding the rear window on my C70 has crumbled away in areas.

Luckily the window is not leaking water despite Katie doing her best!

I have been advised to buy black silicone sealant and bead/smear it around the window, but knowing how rubbish that can look if it is not done right I wondered if anyone else has had this problem and if so did you manage to get the trim from anywhere to replace it ??

I have exactly the same issue with my C70 and so far no sign of leaks but it does annoy me when I wash the car. Watching this thread with interest as I wondered how I could sort it as well..................
