Odometer has stopped working..easy fix?

The mileometer ceased to be yesterday.. bereft of life it sings with the choir invisible..it is no more..it has shuffled off this mortal coil
No then I've ordered a pair of wheels/cogs..at great expense and wonder if anybody has done this simple job?

I've never replaced the cogs but have taken the clocks apart to swap the front over.

You under the screws around the edge on the back of the clocks to release the front cover/window thing, then undo the nut on the turbo gauge (if you have one)

Then gently prise the whole clock fascia out of the plastic surround (the individual clocks have pins that fit into sockets on the circuit board so no wires/connectors to undo).

The odometer is left in the plastic surround which can be removed by undoing some screws on the circuit board. From here on in you're on your own :)

Only trouble I've had with the cluster is that the turbo boost gauge fell off. It can be pushed back on though.

Second video - removing the dash. Much, much swearing involved in releasing the glovebox door arms which isn't covered here. very small screwdriver required pushed down into the little hole on RHS of each arm (which isn't mentioned in the video). Needs finesse not force.
