You know when you think about your old cars and wonder if they're still alive?

Well, I did a DVLA enquiry on my old 850 T-5 and it turns out that she is still taxed, which I am rather pleased about. The 850 community is relatively small, so I just wondered if anyone on here might know her whereabouts?

Be nice to see some pictures of the old girl :)

Just thinking out loud not sure if you can/should do this:

Go to this site & get the previous MOT test number - https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/?_ga=1.182971877.232251716.1453633550

Get a print out of the current MOT from any testing station using the above number & 10 quid

Go to this site & get the contact details of the testing garage written on the cert see if they know who has it - https://data.gov.uk/dataset/mot-active-vts

...or hang around the garage around the expiry date of the MOT :)

I'm not sure I'm willing to pay to know its whereabouts lol. Be nice to see it though.

Yes, I did a DVLA check on it and that said it still had tax and test.

Be interesting to see it and find out if anything has changed. I think it had done about 114k when I sold it in 2009/10.

140k miles in June last year according to the mot history link above, someone is getting good use out of it

So it has, never used that link before.

Pleased it's still going. Both of my old Volvos are. Just be nice to see what the old girl looks like, not seen her in a while!

I am also interested in where N700GAB has ended up. My dad owned it in 2009 briefly (before my mum made him get rid of it!). He has always wished that he kept it though. I think it had done around 100k at the time he sold it and he is also based in Norwich, so he may have sold it to you!
