What's wrong with this picture???? Clue it's related to the front disks!

As it needs new hand brake cables it's back on the ramp next week, so my buddy will get the front disks off and swap them round then. Easy mistake, soon to be fixed. But still happy, much better pedal than I had before.
I did like the V70R plate, but this was a wedding present and the wife has E2 LNN so had to put it on. Loving being back in a VOLVO!!!!!

Ok so going by your diagram the fronts are right, which means the backs are wrong as they go the opposite way to the fronts. He never read the boxes assumed they were all the same direction. But if you are right, the back need to come off for the new handbrake cable anyway so that makes it easier. Hope Harvey agrees on drill direction!

I think it's the vents that are more important fella, rather than the direction of the hole pattern (cross-drilling). Have a look see if the discs are marked with 'L' & 'R' somewhere just to make sure

No markings that I could see, they were on the boxes, but once removed..... Harvey will put us right when he gets a chance I'm sure. He has same setup.

Bit of info here fella, if they are Brembo PVT or straight vane type it doesn't seem to matter which way they rotate

Which direction should the discs rotate?
It is a popular misconception that the slots or drillings in a disc determine the direction of rotation. In truth, for an internally vented disc, the geometry of the vanes dictates the direction of rotation. There are three vane types in use:

◾Straight
◾Pillar vane (comprised of many small posts)
◾Curved vane

The first two vane types are non-directional, and can be used on either side of the vehicle. The curved vane disc, however, is directional. A curved vane disc must be installed with the vanes running back from the inside to outside diameters in the direction of rotation. Please see figure. Orienting the disc in the manner creates a centrifugal pump. The rotation of the disc causes air to be pumped from the center of the disc, through the vanes, and out through the outside diameter of the disc. This greatly enhances the disc's ability to dissipate heat.

Additionally, all of Brembo's slotted discs are directional as well, regardless of the vane geometry. The discs should be installed such that the end of the slot nearest the outer edge of the disc contacts the pad first. Please see figure.

Thanks both. I still have drill holes going in opposite directions on the same side of the car. So this will need changed, but at least we can just flip the rears when they are off for the new handbrake cables being fitted.
Problem now is I am running out of the obvious upgrades, wonder what I should do next????

AEM Water/meth injection

If it were a manual perhaps, but it's not so will stick to the obvious. Poly bushes, might look at the suspension although looks like there is not much I can do here, worst maybe downpipe. Power wise, think I would just keep std as don't need gearbox headache. Its been a fun ride so far, just got my new pressed number plates, so thats the next job.
