strange noise

Hi all
Just noticed a strange noise coming from I think the drivers side wing, it's sort of like a distorted speaker/horn noise . It's doing it packed up and locked, just started it and runs fine but still making the noise .
Any ideas anyone?

I'd go with what Jamesy said.

They start doing strange things when the batteries let go and leak everywhere inside.

Can I just remove the siren and forget about it or will I get some warning light

Best bet is to pull the fuse for it and see how it goes.
