Dicky key fob(s)

Hey,

My t5 came with 2 key fobs witch apparently never worked, few months ago I actually put new batts in both and tried with no joy. I dis assembled both and tried to force a connection across the circuitry with a knife and (completely at random) both of them managed to lock / unlock but this was almost impossible to recreate ... This has to be with something on the other end rather then the fobs no?
How hard is it to get new fobs assigned / working for ones car ?

Its nice and easy with the 850, you need all doors closed, turn the ignition on and off 5 times leaving the ignition on the last time and press the button on the keyfob(s) within 10 seconds and they'll be linked.

So I can just get a new one and give that a try ?

Yep.

Probably best to check the alarm antennas too, though I'm not sure where they're located (some are in the rear quarter window). I'll see if there is a diagram somewhere.
