Hi All

This has made me laugh.. Bless what a ££££.. Apologies if anyone on here but really...

This is the add....
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161895232265?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

This is the 2nd time he has posted it. 1st time he advertised it at £650 buy it now or best offer and it didn't sell so now he increased the price and still not sold...

I sent him a message about mileage of car and service history...

His response

hi sorry no history with the car and the miles are about 115000 . i spoke to the bloke who built it yesterday he rebuilt the engine with forged pistons and rods about 8000 miles ago and fitted bigger injectors and did loads of mods to bring it up to just under 300 bhp
i dont want to sound rude but i dont think this car is for you if you are asking if it has service history . its an out and out animal and has been built to be used like it .service history or should i say an oil and filter change every year will not make a car like this . but thanks for the interest

I have responded with a list of my cars and my details about my T4 and V40 T4 and M3 and VW derv lols...

Safe to say wont be buying this T4...

OMG.... Just received this message from him...

New message from: lordscratchy (22Yellow Star)

when you ask about service history on a cheap old track day car you sound like a time waster and to be honest you have just shown that good luck with all your fantastic cars obviously i did upset you then wasn't intended

If he had replied sensibly and without being a tool I also may have bought it as it possibly is ideal.. but not now. :) Hopefully you get a good price

Quality, "I've been told it's the plugs, which I've replaced" but haven't tested them yet, erm, why not?

"Can't be much though cos it flew before" , so did my old Golf prior to the cambelt snapping and wrecking the engine lol

I think u r being too picky on an old cheap car and to be fare too many people ask stupid questions on ebay tho its already been covered in an add.The best thing to do is to go and see it,take it or leave it.I wouldn`t be put off and see the car if I was after one.I have a 330I m sport which had a bit of water leak and after fixing it had no chance to test it and even forgot about it and been sitting in my work car park about 4 months not moving.

Sounds pretty arrogant to me. If its had loads of mods to bring it up to 300bhp, then why not say what they are?

What turbo? What Injectors? Who did the mapping? Etc.

Do you think the guy has as much knowledge about Volvos as some on here?

I reckon it might be this car that was for sale in Kent 2 years ago:

Really thinking about selling my latest panama t4, comes with lots of goodies, including forged engine with under 4k on it, some really rare and expensive parts on it, as most of you know these are really rare now and in this condition even rarer, (defo no more then 10 on the road and I have two).

Kit includes
-Poweflow s/s cat back exhaust system sounds like a rocket ship
-Full led front and back led set up with phase 2 rear cluster (LEDs were over £100)
-evo 3 front calipers with disc and pads (on car)
-limited edition bsr anti heat soak induction system(over £100)
-uprated actuator (0.8bar)
-460cc injectors
-custom front mount intercooler (drop in, worth over £500)
-fk street coilovers
That's it everything else is standard so proper sleeper, also can come with fully forged engine b4194t which when made was £3k+, car is taxed and mot has run out, but can put 12 months on it,

Offers over £1k bargain, welcome not stupid tho, don't be scared I won't bite. Seriously fast t4......

If someone has a track car, i expect them to know what its had done to it.

To be fair Liam, some people have more money than sense & they don't care about what it's had done to it. I know a few like that.

Personally, if I bought a car with the intention of hooning it around a track, I'd WANT to know what it's had done and who by.

Purely to make sure a wheel wasn't going to fall off, brakes suddenly fade to nothing or it bust into flames!

Going by the pics, i'd say its not exactly had much money spent on it for a while.

But going by the ad, i won't argue about the lack of sense ;)

May be the guy is talking from his a$$ about upgrades but its a cheap car and will need more spending on than the price.

May well be just a coincidence and the seller is a bit lazy, but it doesn't fill you with confidence.

FFS this guy is worse than me at selling a car - although my advert skills have improved recently by copying the format of a decent advert from this forum...he should try it

Would just like to say to people wondering about this car, I was the one that 1st built that car from scratch, and sold it about 3 years ago, there's nothing untrue or untoward about this car when I owned it and was defiantly running good power......I sold this car for 850, and the only mod that has been changed on it was the semi slicks by a new owner, mitchyboy will confirm this was mine and was totally standard when I bought it!
This was my third Panama yellow t4 and the fastest yet! Have videos

So what are the actual modifcations done?

I've been in conversation, but he could not confirm the brake set up.

Tommy t4

The brakes are mivec fto, twin pots, with evo 3 discs, standard rears. Turbo actuator was a 1.5bar kinugawa to hold boost at 22psi better, has custom decat and power flow exhaust that I welded up. Did have custom fmic but I took that off as was too rare to sell with car, has bsr induction kit, with cold air feed that comes from removed fog light through wing and is excellent at keeping that filter cold and providing cold air, has fk coilovers all round. The engine had uprated shells and bigends, standard forged crank and pistons, and 440cc injectors, uprated boost hoses for the standard bcv. This was a pretty fast car and i battered few cars round track and other places, evo 6 352hp from 2nd gear roll, e46 m3 up to according to driver 170+ I was off clock and still pulling, rs4 rolling stayed with couldn't pull on me, track ready Clio 172 running 197 and weighing 904kg......list is too long, how it's running now I can't tell you but that was it when I had it.
Imo absolute steal at that price, and I'm going to buy it back if no one else does, super rare can only be 5 or 6 of these left and I had 3.....
