Hi John,

We have applied quite a few Shark maps to the D5 variants.

Shark do have some very impressive maps for the 180/185hp D5 engines.

Let me know if we can be of any assistance.

If I`m not mistaking I my ex explod S60 T5 once was yours and mapped by you (RICA).The performance was great, the fastest T5 I`ve had and I had many also the mpg was good too.If you do similar to a D5 thats great.

The maps for the D5 are just as impressive as the T5.

My opinion it comes down to preference as to what type of power delivery you want.

The Rica map comes in sooner low down., where as the shark map is more progressive.

Both give noticeable difference.

With your car being a geartronic, I would go for a shark map, as it's more progressive for the gearbox.

We found an improvement on our S80 D5 along with others we have mapped via Shark.

It mainly depends on driving style/conditions.

MTE's Swedish written calibrations... well received over very many (14) years, £345 including VAT.

There is a fully returnable deposit of £155 on MTE's unique Softloader interface that you use in the process starting with a read-out from the car's OBD to installing MTE's finished individual calibrations.
