Guys I need some help here. I bought a V70 T5 2 weeks ago, and I have not managed to get the air con to work. The system has a good pressure of gas, and the relay switch and the 2 fuses are good. The pump does not kick in when you switch it on, and therefore there is no dip in the revs when you switch the A/C on. It would seem to be electrical. Has anyone had a similar problem? I would like to problem solve this one before throwing money at it!
Cheers

Sounds like your clutch on the pump may not be operating, its a drop subframe job to replace it , where are you i know a good independent specialist.

I might put a 12 volt feed onto the clutch first to problem solve. If I need to take the subframe off I will do it myself. Good old Trolley Jack!

Good luck, my local independent sussed out mine using his computer pluged into glove box to help him find fault codes only took him a few minutes to diagnose problem. Luckily mine was covered under warrenty. ( the clutch makes up 2 3rds of the price of a complete pump.
