Some of us are having a get together for Christmas, so thought we'd open it up to VPCUK. The date, 5th December, the time 7p.m. onwards, the venue, Jongleurs, Reading. Cost £50.50 for a 2 course meal, voucher for 2 drinks, night of comedy, and aftershow party. Accomodation, personal preference, but there is a travel lodge nearby, currently charging £33 for the night. I have created a page on facebook, if you're interested, and have Facebook, let me know, and I'll add you to the group, if you're not on Facebook, PM me, and I'll keep you up to date via PMs/email. £5 deposit secures your place, and the balance has to be paid by 14th November.

There's a south coast Volvo Xmas one on fb. There seems go be a plethora of Xmas meets this year.

Another secret squirrel event, that only the chosen few get invited to.

Why post it on my thread then?

The last I looked it was a public forum so anyone can post anything on any thread.

Shame you don't pay attention to the threads, otherwise you'd have read Santa's post stating that if you're arranging a Christmas do, start a thread about it in community meets, he didn't say anything about hijacking other threads. Also you can't post anything on any thread, that's spamming.

You asked a question.

Another secret squirrel event, that only the chosen few get invited to.

And I answered it.

Yeah :)

Just remember people who live in glass houses should throw stones.

I didn't ask a question (hence no question mark) I made a statement. I'm puzzled as to why you'd even look at this thread, there's no way you'd travel to Reading, I wouldn't be surprised if your Christmas do is being held in Romsey.

Squirrel? It's not a secrete event anyone can go on the fb group, there no thread as its not a vpc community organised event.

All groups have an admin, but I could be wrong I'm not a fb expert.

Yes, but you're saying anyone can go on the group, which isn't true.

Yes you would need to be approved, I think it's called a closed group.
