Fault code confusion!?!??!

Evening all

Been having an intermittant lambda light on my dash board for a while now and finally got round to checking the fault codes.

Turns out there was only one which was 3-2-3. As I have an 850 T5 this uses the Motoronic fuel injection system.

Anyho according to Haynes, fault code 3-2-3 comes up as "malfunction indicator lamp signal faulty".

I cleared the codes but the lamp stayed on so does this mean I do indeed have a faulty lambda light?!?!

If so what to do as it jolly annoying and means the dashboard is constantly crying wolf! The car seems to be running fine so no cause to panic.

Ironic there is no warning light to tell you the warning light is knackered ;)

Try Chris Rogers on the VOC forum, there doesn't appear to be much he doesn't know!
