Intermittent boost levels!

This is driving me crazy now, just when you could do with a bit of oomph under your foot there's not half what you expected there to be.

Occasionally it'll boost fine and dandy just over the white (RICA 304 map), but at other times it can be almost standard if not slightly less.

I've replaced the BCS with an IPD unit with new vacuum lines to and from it, and whilst we picked up some lost boost (when it works) the problem is still there.

Any ideas? Boost leak somewhere?

I'll look into that thanks, is there anything that can be done to free them up or will it (potentially) need replacing?

If it moves freely by hand you know its ok, should have a smooth feel.

I was always under the impression they were quite stiff so couldn't be done by hand! I'll have a pokey if I get up early enough before work. Thanks chaps.
