Im sorry if there was a thread about this but i couldnt find it :(

I cant find any decent specs about volvo stock fuel pumps so i have to ask you to help me.... In my T5 (0.9bar 13t with NA cams) im driving fuel pump from 2.5 10v 850 and i do not know if its enough or its better to put a T5-R pump which my friend has and wants to replace it for me ? Is it better? Is there any differences in those two pumps and can i expect some differences with t5r pump ?

Thanks!

i think all 850's used the same pump

if the current fuel pump is kicking out a higher pressure than that of the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail, then you won't gain anything by fitting a bigger pump

Yes, i know that, but i think that there is not enough pressure for the regulator, i think that the pump is weaker than turbo pump

A 2.5 10V doesn't use the same fuel pump as a T5 ect. A standard T5 fuel pump should supply enough fuel for a 350+ BHP N/A. A Walbro GSS342 will supply enough fuel for over 500BHP.

I think the Bosch PNs have been posted up before on here with the L.P.H. @ 3 Bar.

You can work out yourself if the pumps are different or not?
