According to the list here (although for a P2) its an SRS fault code

Thanks, but not sure on that one.
Car went into limp mode with an engine system maintenance required message thown up on the dash.

Says the same thing, SRS code, rear left impact sensor.

Do those codes apply to a 2014 MY V70?

The text on BSR says not for S80 2007 onwards.

I can't see that an SRS impact sensor would put the engine into limp mode.

I would think it would say srs service ASAP ,not engine limp but you never know.

Turns out it is a MAF sensor fault code.

It was recorded as intermittent so a clean of the contacts by Volvo and see what happens.

Just a PITA it happened on the way to holiday so no car for one and a half days until a renter was supplied by Volvo Assist. Nice Fiat 500 large.... It was the only thing in the area big enough to fit the dogs in the back of.
