Had some serious knocking coming from the rear end. Thought it may be the outer bushes as they were an advisory on the MOT, but after checking underneath and finding no real movement it turns out the shock top mount is a little bit loose....

Ordered new suspension bushes before looking though (d'oh) so looks like a total rear suspension refresh this week :) (need new shocks as it bounces a lot)

Some liquid metal and a few feet of duck tape and you'll be fine mate :)

Holy feck, surprised the boot floor didn't get damaged when they finally let go!

Can hear it thumping against the boot floor. It's been rattling for a couple of months TBH but only got louder since I drove back from Wales the other day which is when I guess it finally let go. Was hoping to have the AWD back on the road by now so I could get the V70 off the road for the repairs it needs, but that hasn't happened yet.

Although I did do a handbrake 5 up with a boot full of tools ;)
