V70 P2 alternator

Hi guys,

Apologies as I dont post here often but am constantly hovering and checking the projects.

My issue is, my alternator has just failed, and being just a workhorse type of car I want to get one from the scrappy.

Will any alternator from a 70 series of that vintage fit or do you know if its just a T5 fit only????

Help very much appreciated, its got to get me to the lake district next week! :smirk:

Match the amperage and you're good to go.

Want my advice....Don't buy a Alternator from a scrapped car. They generally don't last long and you'll end up doing the job twice. If it's a workhorse you plan to keep on working, then buy a new one. Anything electrical, I'd always buy new.
