Hi, I'm thinking of making up a down pipe for my S70R straight flange.

After looking at what is needed I have come up with OEM flange cut off and welded to a 90deg mandrel bend (not sure on the diameter) joining to a flexi, then to a 45deg bend and finally join to the original exhaust or continue with a full system..

Does this sound like the right parts needed? My only concern is not knowing the correct diameter as ideally I would want 3" but I know the flat flange cannot accept that.

Of course I will need to weld on an insert for the Lamda.

The diameter of the TME downpipe is 70 mm (about 2.75 inches) onto a straight flange turbo.

As you say you would need the flexible & also a cat.

A dodgy shot of the same exhaust on a straight flange 16T

the angle between horizontal & the centreline of the flexi looks to be more than 90 degrees to me

Gwe one I bought was bang on 76mm for the p2, but some definitely aren't 76mm

James, who needs a cat? :B_steerin

Steve, do you have any templates or diameters that you had used?

JCC Race and Rally are good for parts or the old eBay :)
