opinions please

Might be getting a 2000 V70 2.4 estate but newer shape. Anyone had one and tell me what they're like? It's an auto but mainly I want to know how good they are, what the engine is like etc. Many thanks if you guys can help.

My 1st Volvo was a 2002 2.4(170) p2 V70 auto and was that good that it made me stick with the make. Comfy inside, and very little trouble all round. It had 96k on the clock when I bought her and 150k when I sold her. Is the 2000 year only available in 140 though?

I knew nothing when I first looked, but I soon sussed that there is a 140bhp and 170bhp 2.4.

Only ever got 30-31mpg at best on really good journeys, so may as well buy a T5 I would say now..............

Well picked up a 2000 plate V70 2.4 yesterday and its actually quite nice to drive being an auto, something I'm really not a fan of. I have already used my left foot to brake several times today lol. But I'm happy I'm back on the road again.
