Hi everyone not been on for a while. But I'm trying to remove a spring from my awd I have never done one so any advice will help. The whole rear subframe etc was replaced in 2001 due a problem with cracking in the aluminium but it's never been apart since it's been wax oiled every couple of yrs so everything is coming undone easyly. So far I've got the shock out wheel off anti roll bar link undone now I'm stuck do I remove the trailing arm next ???

Undo the bolt that goes through the bottom arm that connects it to the hub, think it has a 22mm head with a nut at the other end.

Removing that should provide enough movement to get the spring out, still a bit tricky but do-able :)
Try levering the spring out from the top rather than getting its bottom out of the cup it sits in.
Will be easier with 2 people, when to pull the arm down and one to lever the spring out ;)

Info is a bit sketchy but basically this

You have to compress the suspension to normal height before tightening the bolts up on the trailing arms/bushes.

Edit - Davey beat me to it LOL
