Will k&n induction affect remap?

Hi,

Sorry a bit of a newbie when it comes to volvos as im used to jap performance cars. Bought a pre me7 t5 s70 on a 1997. Its got bigger injectors, full exhaust system, decat, panel filter. Has also had a ricca remap 3-4 years ago. Just wanted to know if i was to put a k&n cone filter onto this. Would it affect the way it runs at all due to the remap?

Nope.

Would just sound a bit better, that's all.

There is some debate over heat soak, but nothing worth losing any sleep over.

Get a heat sink sorted and a cold air feed and take the bonnet sound proof off for more sound lol
