Well even thou I am very happy with the performance of my current Headlight Bulbs the PHILIPS Vision Plus +50%. I decided I'd give another set ago. I decided on some RING Sportz Blue, in the H1 fitment they are ratted at 80 watts and are not road legal
They were decribed as "Very bright and VERY Blue"
Well even thou I'm yet to do some proper night driving with them I can see that their much WHITER than the Philips, but not as Blue as I was expecting.

I did more pics which are on my Cardomain site, but as that explains my Camera Battery dumped before I could complete the set so I will endeavour to finish it ASAP.

Looking forward to seeing how they project on the road, but its looking good so far.

Yeah I think its a good mod for anyone that does a bit of night driving.

I got them from Mod World (http://www.modworld.1st-hosting.co.uk/catalog/index.php?osCsid=872e82a14ce538a21cb308e562e95850) . And I've got to say What A Service ! I ordered then at 4:30 Monday afternoon, then tuesday morning when I checked my email I had a confirmation email saying they had been dispached @ 11:50pm and 5 mins later I had a call from reception to say I had a package waiting for me  The had arrived by 8:15 I was well impressed !

H1 Bulbs are a single element bulb used for various application i.e. Low Beam / High Beam / Fog or Driving lights, and is the most commonly used.
The H7 was first introduced by BMW and Mercedes in 1995 and never really took of as was found to have no benefits over the H1 bulb but cost more to produce, therefore upgrade bulbs are harder to come by in this fitment.

And SAM takes 4xH1 bulbs as standard so no modification was required.

Cool man, av got the Phillips bulbs just now but on an H7 fitment, H1 bulbs have a single pin instead of a 2 pin like a H7 so just wondering how ad do that hmmm.....

Mibees need to steal bulb holders out an 850 lol :dgrin:
