Oil Pumps ???

Hi folks, whats the latest thinking on Oil Pumps, are the new ones any good these day as I seem to remember there was a lot of discussion in the past, as whether it was worth fit a new one or retaining the old one (if still in decent condition) as some of the new ones were failing cause major issues..!!!

Whats your thoughts folks ??

You double up the 'O' ring when the pickup pipe bolts to the oil pump

or a thicker o ring to give the same effect possibly
